Reading is available without an account. Keeping something for later is your choice.
Saved reading stays on your device.
If you save a book, essay, passage or reading position, these tools store it in this browser. The reading desk does not upload those saved items or sync them to an account.
Reading preferences and the dependence worksheet apply while the page is open. Worksheet answers are not added to your saved reading.
You can remove individual saved items, clear saved reading, or export a JSON backup from the reading desk. That file can be restored in another browser. Keep it somewhere you trust if the selected passages are personal.
Clearing browser storage can remove your saved items. This site cannot recover them without your backup.
A message draft is optional.
“Keep this message for later” saves only the message in this browser. It does not save the name or email fields. Each draft is valid for up to seven days; expired drafts are removed when that draft tool next opens.
Use “Delete saved message” to remove it sooner. A successfully sent message clears the saved draft for that enquiry type. Saved reading and message drafts have separate controls.
Avoid saving sensitive details on a shared device.
Sending an enquiry shares it with me.
The form sends your email, optional name, message and chosen enquiry type through this site's contact service to Formspree for delivery to my inbox. If relevant, it also includes the essay, coaching story or project decision you came from. Campaign labels from the page address may be attached.
Optional briefs are added visibly to your message before sending. An essay reply is private, rather than a published comment.
Application delivery logs record a reference, time and enquiry context. The contact handler does not write your name, email or message body into those logs. Formspree and the receiving mailbox handle the delivered message separately.

Search, downloads and media.
Site search sends the terms you enter to this site's search endpoint to find public content. Saved reading is not part of those search requests.
Export and print controls prepare files from the published writing and your selected local reading data. A downloaded backup is a separate file; clearing the browser's saved reading does not delete your downloads.
Videos load after you choose Play. Links to other websites, social profiles and the optional call-booking page open those services, where their own data practices apply.
