March 2020. The world shut down. Gyms closed. I had no equipment, no plan—just a pair of running shoes.
I was a project manager in London, working 10-hour days. Training happened at 5 AM before work. Or 9 PM after. Sometimes both.
I was competing in half marathons and Hyrox races while managing complex projects. Time was the constraint. Efficiency was everything.
I learnt to train smarter, not longer. 80% of results from 20% of the effort. Systems over volume. Recovery as seriously as training.
It worked. I hit PRs while working full-time. Stayed injury-free. Actually had a life outside of work and training.
Then I qualified as a Personal Trainer and transitioned to coaching full-time.
Now I coach busy professionals—people with demanding careers, limited time, and big athletic goals. People who refuse to choose between performing at work and performing in sport.
I also run 24Stride, a videography service capturing movement through cinematic iPhone footage. And I build digital tools for athletes and creators.
If you're working long hours and wondering how to fit in serious training, I've been there. I can show you how.
What I Believe
Systems Over Goals
Goals are useful direction. Systems are what get you there.
Fundamentals First
Sleep, consistency, recovery. Master the basics before optimising the details.
Long-Term Thinking
Training for decades, not weeks. Build what lasts.
Efficiency Matters
If you're working 10-hour days, you can't train like a full-time athlete. Different constraints require different solutions.
